Six layers decide who owns the audience.

Each layer is scored from 0 to 3 against fixed rules, then combined into one score out of 100.

Founder voice

Original LinkedIn posts from the founders over 30 days. A post counts when it opens with their own point of view, not the company name or a hiring call.

Team advocacy

How many people beyond the founders posted on LinkedIn in the last 30 days, measured against company headcount.

Email

We sign up. Is there a list anyone can join, does it have a real name, and does a welcome email arrive within 24 hours?

Long-form

Recent videos of five minutes or more and regularly published podcasts. Short clips, webinars and demos do not count.

Blog

Whether posts are written for readers or for search rankings, and whether a named person stands behind them.

Read the methodology
  • Founder posts that open by naming the company, or that promote hiring or events, do not count toward founder voice.
  • Email is tested by signing up with a research address and waiting 24 hours for a welcome email.
  • Every score carries an as-of date, and every item we counted links to its source.
